1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Chekhmate (the “Service”), operated by Spreeh Technologies (“Spreeh”, “we”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:
- Use the Service to send unlawful, deceptive or unsolicited messages.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes others’ rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
- Use guest data for any purpose other than the event for which it was provided.
You are responsible for obtaining any consents required from guests before adding their information or sending them communications via the Service.
4. Your content & data
You retain all rights to the content and data you upload. You grant Spreeh a limited license to host, process and display that content solely to provide the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on the cadence shown at checkout. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and trademarks, is owned by Spreeh and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others. Upon termination, you may export your data for a reasonable period as described in our documentation.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spreeh will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
